For over 20 years, museums and other cultural institutions such as galleries and studios in many European countries have remained open late into the nightduring the so-called ‘Museum Night’.
As part of the 10th anniversary of this popular international event in theSchaffhausen area, the former steel foundry was used as an exhibition space for two days. The art projects were created in this archaic ambience and especially for this time-honoured and inspiring space.
In 2009 and 2010, Kajuka created two larger floor paintings, ‘The ravages of
time’ and ‘Stinginess is cool’, which dealt with the theme of this hall and thecurrent quality of time.
This was followed in 2011 by a floor painting ‘yes we can’ in a public square inSchaffhausen.
In 2012, a performance in front of the All Saints‘ Monastery entitled “Coal or Life”.
